Jamie became interested in the field of Physical Therapy at a young age after sustaining 2 injuries and recovering as a result of skilled Physical Therapy treatment. Jamie’s own love for sports and science helped to advance his curiosity for how the human body moves and heals. Jamie graduated from the University of The Sciences in Philadelphia in 2003 with a Masters’ Degree in Physical therapy.
His passion for healing lead him to seek out post grad continuing education in the wholistic manual therapy approach know as Myofascial Release (MFR), specifically the John F. Barnes approach. Jamie has completed MFR 1& 2, Cervical-thoracic MFR, Fascial Pelvis MFR, Unwinding MFR, and Rebounding MFR.
Jamie completed certifications from The Titleist Performance Institute and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) combining his love for body mechanics and the sport of golf. Utilizing his knowledge of human body mechanics and golf swing analysis Jamie has learned to assess golfers physical limitations and correlate them with their swing flaws. Proper understanding of how a players physical limitations can significantly affect their swing and potentially cause injury has allowed Jamie to significantly improve his clients swings and even his own.
When Jamie is not busy assisting patients, you can find him with his wife and 3 beautiful children, on the golf course, in the gym, or on the beach with friends and family.
